Hello!

I have used a variety of different types of nappies, would love to know what others think and what they recommend, positives and negatives?

  • Definitely cloth nappies! Just find a good wash routine and you’re all good!

  • Huggies are my favourite for absorbency. I’m now in nappy pants and like the fit of the baby love- they are a bit more generous for a chubby girl!

  • Avoid huggies they have leaked through with both of mine. I use aldi or home brand safeway ones.

  • We’re creatures of habit and use Huggies. We watch out for discounts at Costco and then stock up. Works out to be (relatively) cheaper that way.I like the fit of them and the side tabs better than any of the others.

  • wow that box of huggies nappies at coles is really low! $30 is a bargain lol! good on ya for that find KJ!

  • Well in the od days , there was no such thing as nappies with adhesives so it was always cloth . Of course the cloth ones are less convenient even though it is cheaper. However when you think about soaking them in a bucket of hot water every day , scraping the ( you know what ) in the toilet every day , washing them then hanging them to dry , etc ask yourself if you are willing to do the work and I am sure you will know what the decision will be . If you are going out with a baby , nappies with the adhesives is still the best option .

  • Always loved Huggies and hated Babylove as they smelt and never lasted long enough.

  • Snuggles were my favourites. They were absorbent, comfortable and usually on special so very affordable in big bulk boxes. I too tried several brands until I found the one I preferred. Even then, sometimes the lack of money dictated what I bought

  • Just bought some Huggies ones, they had them in Coles on sale I think for $24 a box, never seen them that low before!

  • i love huggies and they are my go to. when the kids get a bit older, they can go into the woolies ones which are fine

  • I buy Huggies nappies. I find that they contain the leaks best and don’t give my baby any nappy rash unlike some other (cheaper) brands. I buy them when they are on sale so they are less than 30 cents a nappy.
