Woombie sleeping bags- best ever swaddle you can buy! They are a little expensive, but you can pick them up second hand on eBay and the like. I had the same issue with my son and these were lovely and tight, come in a variety of sizes and also weights for summer/winter.

Just about any bunny rug will do, it’s how you wrap that matters.

No matter how tight I wrapped my little man he always did the houdini and wiggled one arm if not two out.

I found a cot sheet worked well once my little one got bigger – gave more options with regards to keeping him in it too as it is bigger.

“Love to Dream Swaddle Up Wraps” were awesome for our twins, it zips up and they couldn’t get their hands out

Just put in warmer clothes and sleeping bag

I like to use a light wrap that has abit of stretch to it

I’d try putting him in a sleeping bad and see how he goes.

To still warp him at 5 month is great. But time to ease up on wrapping I think

Also he is getting older now and probably doesn’t want to be wrapped, blankets and a onesie will work great his getting a bit old to be swaddled good luck and just give it a try and see how he goes 🙂
