I love the sound of the peppermint and vinegar solution

I show the spiders a photo of me taken first thing in the morning, and that’s enough for the spiders to run screaming out of the house at great speed. OK, on a more serious note, I bought a cheap spray bottle, put 100 ml white vinegar in it, along with 10 drops peppermint oil, and topped up with water. I sprayed around window sills & door frames with the liquid, and we haven’t had a spider inside in over 6 months.

We just use a good outdoor barrier spray every six months. Seems to be working well enough!

You could encourage geckos? Either that or use a heavy duty surface spray, just remember spiders eat mozzies!

I would spray the outside of your house with a goos pestiside or you could buy a lizard 😀

My cat has been taking care of spiders for me. We don’t have any nasty ones here, just daddy long legs. Hope you found the answers you were looking for

Lemon lemon and more lemon. I hate them too!!

Add 10 drops of peppermint, lavendar or tea tree oil in a 500ml spray bottle filled with water & a little dishwashing detergent. Spray around door & window sills. They apparently don’t like the smell.

Mix a teaspoon of lemon oil in a litre of water and spray around windows wtc to stop them coming in. There is a rule in my house -if it is outside it may live, but anything with 8 legs inside my house must die!
