  • kosher salt and lemon to clean the soap scum from the shower glass and the faucets.

  • Bam is great, but nothing is cheaper that vinegar and elbow grease

  • Shower sparkle works well, however I find white vinegar works well for a chemical free choice.

  • I use Bam but in between cleans I will spray my tub and shower screen/tiles with vinegar to help keep the mould down. It does make my bathroom smell like Salt & Vinegar chips though!

I plan on using the vinegar & dishwashing liquid mix several commenters have recommended. Thanks

  • Who needs costly, harmful chemicals & tiresome scrubbing???

Just crank up the pressure cleaner to full bore & let her rip! Don’t have one yet? They’re $39 for a good one that’ll last years at KMART… cheaper & more available if you live in the privileged eastern states.

  • Bam spray foam is the best! I love it!

  • I use the earths choice. It’s cheap not bad for the environment and doesn’t use any chemicals and I find it better than strong cleansers with bleach !!

  • Oz Kleen have a pretty good product, but water metho and a little dishwashing liquid works well too!

  • there’s shower that works well and easy of bam too.

  • Vinegar and dishwashing soap mixed together and then scrub the glass, and viola! Clean!

  • i use vinegar.it even kills the molds. No harmful chemicals so not bad even for kids

  • there are some really good tips here

  • my mum uses metho and water on the glass – it works really good

  • Bi carb soda mixed to a paste. And I love the vinegar w orange peel idea, totally trying that one 🙂

  • Im been thinking about trying enjoy myself

  • I use enjo clothes and only use water and my shower screens look brand new all the time enjo is fantastic 🙂

  • I’ve tried simple white vinegar which was poured over cut-up orange skins & left to sit for a couple of weeks. I put the orange oil infused vinegar into a spray bottle & used it on the shower screen. The vinegar gets rid of the soap scum, and the orange oil cleans as well as giving a really fresh smell.

  • some baking soda mixed into a paste and a good scrubbing brush is the best at removing soap scum

  • Bicarb soda cleans the shower very well. If you have a problem with mouild as well, spray vinegar on it.

  • I use combination lemon juice and salt.
