Solution for a 9yr old labrador's arthritis?

Hello!

I’m over giving my dog medications for her arthritis. Is there food or liquid or some sort of powder I can put in her food? We are coming into winter, she will be sleeping inside. She has 2 mattress so it’s comfortable for her as we’re on tiles. She’s 8kg overweight.
What do you suggest?

Weight loss will help, but I’m sure you will already know this. Fish oil is good and good quality olive oil helps with a wide range of ailments. It does depend on how bad the arthritis is though. If it’s severe, prescribed medicine will be your only option
