Hello!

Hit me! Looking for a few little stocking stuffer gifts from Santa. Ideally not plastic and suitable for a nearly 3 year old boy.

  • Hello! It’s been a long time since I had a 3 year old. My kids are teens and an adult now. Let me think…. I’d gift a little Lego set, some books, dvds, arts and crafts, pyjamas, a cool pair of socks, a Christmas gingerbread man making set or a cute fluffy animal.

  • I agree with another mu, arts and crafts are always great stocking stuffers or some little building blocks or cars that he can play with in the bath. A bath bomb or bath crayons etc. These are always a fantastic stocking stuffer – i did this for my daughter and she had so much fun playing with these things in the bath.

  • Art & craft supplies are always a big hit and there is so much variety to choose from. Think stickers, crayons, textas, pencils, glue, glitter, pipe cleaners etc. Getting creative is wonderful for that age group. Dress up accessories like glasses, wands, moustaches , clown noses etc. Cute key rings and danglies for their backpacks,

  • Hmmm 3 in so young and mine are all so much older now and it’s amazing how easy you forget what stage and age is. When my kids where that age from memory we didn’t really do little stocking stuffers it was mostly just a Santa sack with a few big fisher price type toys etc but you could get some bath books, they were always fun.

  • Ohhh i feel you mumma! I dread the old stocking stuffers that end up being little bits of junk that end up all over the house. I try to now think of useful things like a book they can read, or keyrings that they can add to their school bag etc. or stationary!

  • When my daughter was small I remember buying sticker books as well as mini jig saw puzzles that she enjoyed putting together.

  • We look for things that either will be useful, or will be “used up”. So a bottle of bubbles, some bath fizzers (yes, little boys can love these), some pencils, a very small packet of lollies, maybe a new sunhat, some novelty socks… it’s a bit easier when they’re a little older, but the great thing is a 3 year old won’t have big expectations.

  • Maybe some crafty items. Crayola washable markers are a staple in our house, along with scrap books and colouring books. I also love the range of educational toddler toys at Officeworks. They have great memory matching tiles of Aussie animals, flash cards and bead and string toys. They are on high rotation here
