Hello!

“Hi ladies quick question for you all I’ve just had my second child about two months ago and I cannot seem to get a decent nights sleep for the life of me and even if I do I still wake up exhausted, just wondering if any of you had any recommendations on a natural product that might help? thanks in advance”

  • Melantonin is a natural hormone produced by your pineapple gland. You can order Melantonin at iHerb, it comes in different strengths. https://au.iherb.com/c/melatonin#p=1 I’ve good experiences with it and also give it sometimes to my kids in case of jet lags.

  • Sleepy time tea helps my partner or Swiss Sleep tablets are good!

  • Put some lavendar oil on your wrists and temples. It will help keep you calm and relaxed

  • Hope this has been resolved for you. I also cannot sleep well.

  • You could look into essential oils and find something that helps with sleep. Also, The Body Shop sells (or used to sell) some sort of spray to help you sleep better, I can’t remember what it’s called though

  • Lavender is supposed to relax u n help sleep

  • warm bath/shower, warm drink like a herbal tea or milo, relax, turn off tv and computer an hour before bed, dim the lights and do a quiet activity like reading, even try meditation.

  • Warm bath just before bed

  • having a hot shower before bed works to knock you out. I think there is a chemist product called Brauer sleep remedy or something like that..

  • Warm milk with a dash of cinnamon & honey is very pleasant & works wonder for me. I have started this only a couple of months ago & I highly recommend it. Sweet dreams are sure to head your way :)

  • Burn lavender oil in an oil burner just before bed.

  • Valarian root helps with chamomile tea

  • This may sound weird to you. Someone suggested when I was exhausted with my new born. When I go to bed to put a pillow under my feet at night.
It does actually really work. Just try it one night…

  • i would ask at the chemist they might have some good ideas :)

  • Valerian and Hops capsules with Chammomile tea

  • A valerian tea before bed?

  • I’ve tried just about everything on the market & nothing works for me. (( not sure how they would react with breast feeding). But have you tried acupuncture?

  • No/little caffeine, warm milk and a good book can really help. Also I found going for a good walk (with the pram) during the day helped me. Lavender oil dabbed on the pillow or temples can also relax you.

  • Stop coffee and any sort of stimulant from around 3pm. Take a warm bath or shower and go to bed early and let your body relax. Try some relaxation music

  • A warm bath and lavender always seems to work.
