Stroller Access: If you’re bringing a stroller, check if the venue has any restrictions or if there are designated areas for strollers. Some places might have limited space for strollers, especially in crowded venues.
Post-Show Activities: After the show, look for nearby parks, playgrounds, or family-friendly restaurants where you can let the kids burn off some energy and relax.

Use an armband with your name and phone number written on it. You can buy these quite cheaply but I’ve forgotten where(try googling).

Put something on them, in a pocket or wrote on their clothes somewhere, contact details for you if they get lost

I always wanted to go. We booked tickets five years ago. But I was pregnant with twins and quite sick and couldn’t go. I’m not sure if I wanna do that do myself now and take the kids.

I’ve not been to the Sydney show, but have been a lot to the Melbourne Show (imagine they’d be similar?). One thing they had this year was a wrist band for children that you could put your name and number on in case they got separated from you – I thought this was a really good idea and have used it since when we’re out in crowded places.

Lots of patience and money. Never been to Sydney show, only small local ones, which are tough with kids

Lots and lots of walking so take a stroller if the kids are little. You can hire a locker and take a picnic to keep expenses down.
