Hello!

Are there any sales or events you’re keeping your eye on in the lead up to Christmas? I like to be pretty organised with gift shopping and would love to know what others are keen on. One sale I’m excited about right now is the Ecoya Mystery Box sale, I just placed my order. I bought one last sale and it really was full of value. It’s a great stocking stuffer/just in case gift.

  • I always have an eye out for books, and Lego, and for small homewares that make good emergency gifts or small gifts for people like teachers. But this year I’m not looking for anything very special or very big. We don’t need anything and so I’m trying to limit what I spend.

  • I am always keeping my eyes on sales all year round. I have a present area in my house where I store gifts as I see them. I have a lot of hard to buy for people. One bargain I have found so far, is that The Iconic always seems to have stuff on sale. As I am with Medibank Private, I have a rewards system and was able to redeem a $100 gift card and got myself some nice hiking pants for free :).

  • Some other sales are on right now!
No Frills Refills are my absolute go to for nappy bins. Right now they have 25% off. Last year I bought the 400m new version bags and I still have some left. It was less than $95 for over a years worth! Highly recommend.
A fun one, Tarte Mystery Boxes are out! 9 mystery items, roughly $102 with aus postage.
I’d lovvvve to know if anyone else finds a hot sale

  • Just in case anyone is tempted to get the Ecoya mystery box next time around, let me tempt you! For $75 mine included a medium candle, hand lotion, reed diffuser, car diffuser, and a festive fragrance duo room spray and fragrant stone. Very happy with this box and will have some great stocking stuffers/extra gifts to give out. Plus they are so much fun

  • I always love a good sale and will likely buy a few things even though I really don’t need them. The one thing I really want is to get my daughter a Nintendo for Christmas and I am hoping the black Friday sales have them on sale. other than that, I will likely stock up on perfume and make up if it is on sale.

  • Our focus for Christmas has evolved from buying things to enjoying experiences. We value going away and exploring new places and also participating in new experiences. We can then share photos of travels and experiences with family and friends. We do buy gifts from these travels and places and they are given throughout the year.

  • It’s always a good idea to look for sales of items you’re interested in and set them aside for birthdays and Christmas if you like. We have decided to travel to Europe over the Christmas holiday; a big trip is expensive and there will be no Christmas presents. The trip will be our present, it is a gift of experience which has higher value for us than things.

  • We really do not overdo spending for Christmas or for any gifts and we keep it quite simple. When there are good sales we do indeed consider if we need something and if any products will be good for birthday, Christmas or other gifts throughout the year. We always stick to a budget too.

  • What a great question! I usually purchase all my Christmas gifts well and truly before Christmas so I don’t really worry about sales but I’m looking forward to seeing the answers, one thing my family does is gives each other gift cards for the shops we love to go Boxing Day sale shopping

  • I generally keep an eye on all the brands I specially like, including things like Lego that my kids are still into. My favorite sales are book sales, and they tend not to be so good just before Christmas, and better after Boxing day. I don’t really target specific sales, it’s more particular items I’m looking for.
