  • Is this question in code? Im not sure exactly what you’re asking

  • I had an emergency caesarean with my first and was cleared for a VBAC from a reproductive point of view however I have another health issue that made the safest option an elective caesarean for my second. Get as much info as you can from you doctor and midwife to ensure you’re comfortable with your choice.

  • I was unable to have a VBAC but make sure you let your birthing team know, make it known that’s what you want! Just keep in mind you may have to have another csection so try and not be disappointed if it does happen (easier said than done) but just remember any way you deliver your baby is amazing. Good luck Mumma

  • I was told this was possible after emergency c-section for twins (but ended up not having another pregnancy anyway)…With hindsight I think it would have been worst of both worlds when it comes to body recovering and long-term problems….(you have the trauma of scars and abdominal surgery from the c-section … and things are never quite the same!….as well as the issues/complications that may emerge from vaginal birth)

  • Cant help you but maybe you should talk to midwife and your gp?

  • It may depend on the cause of the Emergency Caesarean Surgery whether it is safe to have a Virginal Birth later.

  • I wanted a VBAC but ended up with another emergency caesar. I hope you get the birth you want xx

  • Sorry can’t advice as I haven’t had a vaginal birth, but where there is a will there is a way.

  • I’ve had a VBAC. My midwife was all for me trying as long as all was staying well. My eldest son was vaginal, my daughter caesarean and my son in January this year vaginal, I found it to be a longer process then first time around!

  • I’ve recently been asking this question too! a lot of people have said to me to stick to my guns when it comes to the midwives as apparently they don’t always approve VBAC. I will be pushing a VBAC with my next after having a emergency c section.
