We’re thinking about combining our daughters rooms

Hello!

We have 2 girls 7 and 4, and we’re thinking about combining their room so our 1 year old son can move into his own room (out of our room) as it’s only a 3 bedroom house.
Has anyone ever regretted their kids having to share a room or did it work out ok?

Growing up with 4 sisters we always shared rooms, till on a certain moment My parents made an extension to the house and I got my own room.
We ourselves had the older 2 girls sharing a room for some years, whilst my son and my youngest with special needs had their own room. After some years we rented a larger property so everyone has their own room as my now 13yr old developed high needs as well and things were escalating.
But under normal circumstances sharing a room can be fun and offer great learning moments like considering others, team work and sharing.
