  • Many who get eczema as babies or toddlers also get it again when they become elderly adults.
It’s worth keeping that in mind and telling your children when they are older so they know what to expect in later life

  • My little one got this and so far it has improved for us it was possibly a factor of washing clothes and not double rinsing (making sure all the soaps had gone completely) diet and all other things

  • Unfortunately I have it and so do all 3 of my kids. My eldest had it from about 2 months and my twins got bad excema when they were 3-4 months old. I’m told mine started at a few months old too. I think genes definatly contribute, food, clothing, environment….so many triggers. But it can be managed. Good luck with your little one.

  • The granddaughter of a lady I worked with it developed it within a month of birth. They discovered the main cause was synthetic clothing. When she was dressed in 100% cotton her eczema cleared. Somebody gave them some clothes for her for Christmas and they forgot to check the label, washed them as normal using the same baby washing detergent they always use and the eczema came back again.

  • My kids all started getting it at around 3 months.
Maybe it’s a build up intolerance where generally they are ok with certain foods but if they have had a lot of it over a short amount of time it causes a reaction. Not sure if this is scientifically proven but I have heard of people that this seems to happen to.
Or have you recently changed or introduced anything new to diet or just things like laundry liquid or bath soap?

  • Two of my kids have it my eldest had it start showing up from a few weeks old and my daughter from around 6 months I use coco bubs oil with both and it helps it clear up heaps

  • My son first start very early he was 2 months old I am lucky that he has not got it really bad it just pops up with the change of the weather

  • my son did around 1 year old.

  • My oldest son was only a couple of months old when he first developed it.

  • think it was present from birth :(

  • my first about 6 months. My second not yet (2), me as a re-teen. Can happen any time really.

  • My daughter was about that age, just small patches of it. She’s outgrown it but still has reall sensitive skin
