When my kids were growing up , I used to think abit ahead on how to amuse them during school holidays . If you don’t think of at least one different idea , they would complain boredom and then you felt guilty especially when hub used to work long hours . Now these days they have a lot of activites outside such as shopping centres school holiday events, ( eg face painting , art cooking classes etc ) In the city where they have kids museums, so make sure you do a bit of research and you book ahead if you want to take them . You can also visit other friends kids , go to their place or they come over . Somehow , there seems to be more focused on children a lot now than in the od days . Enjoy anyway .

If you’re into crafty stuff how about some paper mache (excuse my spelling) covered balloon animals? Or plant a vegie garden?
