Raffle or Silent Auction: Reach out to local businesses for donations and raffle off a variety of items or experiences. People often love having a chance to win something big!

Recycling Drive: Collect recyclables like cans and bottles and take them to a recycling center. It’s environmentally friendly and a great way to involve the whole community.

Family Pie sales, Chocolate drives, sausage sizzles, contact local hotels and see if anyone is willing to donate a weekend stay that can be raffled off.

A good old school fete never goes astray.but also depending on where you live look for grants.i obtained one from a waste company in a adjoining council area which paid for play area equipment.it was veola waste management

Cadbury boxes, movie nights, carboot stalls etc.

This has become harder over the years due to the problems of home cooking not being recognised at school stalls these days. Hot Cross Bun stall at Easter time could be a winner and maybe Christmas Cakes at Christmas time – bought from you local stores and sold as one off bun or slices of cake.

Movie fundraiser for schools check with your local cinema that makes a lot of money but you have to advertise it on your social media and get as many people as possible to attend.

The Cadbury chocolate boxes (ours contained yummy Freddo frogs and Caramello Koalas).

My kids aren’t at school yet but at work we do cupcake day which is always a hit.

Trivia Nights were big money makers, however a lot of work by a few. We always ran a Father’s Day and Mother’s Day stall, and sausage sizzles were also well received and earnt good money. Better still when the sausages and bread were donated by local businesses.

We run a mothers day stall and fathers day stall each year as well as a Krispy Kreme donut box fundraiser. Have run a colour run in the past. Also have a silver coin challenge where kids bring in 5 cents or 10 cents or 20 cents or 50 cents and the class that brings in the most money wins a pizza party. Raffles work well if you get enough donations too.

My grandchildren have various fundraisers at their school but the most popular have been hot cross buns and pies.

There are too many to list and it all depends on the profit you are seeking, how many volunteers are on hand and this year… it will depend on whether parents are given the green light to be onsite. I ran a lot of charity nights for our daughters special needs schools, trivia nights are fun as you get people to go out and get donations from local businesses and sports teams to provide silent auction prizes and even for a school of less than 100 kids we raised over $10,000 each time, our local footy team would give us signed merch and free tickets to local games we sold for $10 each all home games they gave us 100 tickets to sell and local sports stars will come to the event to boost numbers. Our local rsl also let me hire a room for free to do a bingo night and bands will perform for free if asked sometimes. You just have to be willing to talk and sell your event and make sure all businesses know they can have signage at the event to promote what they donated, even a free lawn mowed by a local business got $150. Now that my son is in highschool I miss the chocolate drives, we’d sell a few to grandma and to a couple of the closest neighbours and then I’d have $38 worth of freddos at home to make my way through haha

Our school did a color run and the kids absolutely loved it

We are about to have our 3rd colour explosion run/obstacle course. The kids absolutely love it. And it can be a great money maker if you get all the families involved in fundraising. There are great incentive prizes for the kids too

Not sure. Maybe something like “garage sale” that kids can donate things and then buy?
