  • Started a vegetable garden. Decluttered the house and shed.

  • I learnt that I could save a few dollars from not being out shopping.

  • I’ve been able to clean and declutter a lot of stuff that we have accumulated. As well as go through the kids clothes and get rid of some of those smaller clothes.

  • I’ve actually really enjoyed the time with my kids, and now the isolation is lifting (for who knows hou long), I’m missing it.

  • I have actually managed to paint my bedroom walls! So happy I had the time to do it.

  • I really enjoyed more cooking time with kids.

  • I gave birth just before the lockdown and it was great that my husband was able to work from home and be available to help. It was also good that I didn’t feel like I was missing out socially because everyone was at home.

  • I have learnt in-depth where my children are at with learning and although the lessons have given me a lot more greys, I have really enjoyed helping them and spending so much more time together as a whole family. I have also loved not having the morning rush or the afternoon kiss n ride chaos.

  • Positive of covid19 isolation is I don’t have to mix with people, so I don’t have to pretend

  • I have enjoyed the extra special family time and lots of cuddles of reassurance for my kids. The lack of ironing is also a bonus.

  • I’ve enjoyed life becoming a bit slower & found that without weekends packed with social engagements I’ve been able to have more me time for reading etc. we’ve also bee able to complete some long overdue tasks around the home.

  • I think there are many positives. Spending time with family, I’ve found the enjoyment in cooking and baking again and I have started to sort out though cupboards and spaces so some decluttering. I think it has made me more aware of the importance of relationships.

  • Actiually getting back to what life is about – spending time with our kids and as a family without so much technology… walks, fresh air etc

  • Hubby went cleaning mad during the first two weeks so basically most of the stuff was done then. I’ve made a list of things I can do and I’m checking them off as they are done.

  • Yep decluttered alot but still have alot more to do as well!

  • Honestly, as difficult as it is, there are moments when I sit back and realise how special this time is with our immediate family. Having this bonding time with my kids is priceless. I wish I had time to de-clutter, bit its actually busier now than that it was pre-COVID-19.

  • Spending quality time with my little family. Also, jigsaw puzzles!!

  • Also; it is a good time to do audits on absolutely everything, decide what is essential/non essential and set future goals and plans. In the scheme of things isolation has not been going on for very long compared to some countries.

  • We’ve enjoyed the enforced down time. It’s been nice not having to rush between school, sports etc for a while.

  • We have organised, decluttered, cleaned, planned, completed financial and household audits, engaged in hobbies, taken on new hobbies, connected with friends and family virtually and using other mediums, reflection and meditation time and so many other positives.
