  • jumanji and the pixar movies are always good value and don’t require you to folow a complex story line if you are meant to be resting. Catch me if you can is good and the latest Cruella is easy watching.

  • The Help , Life is Beautiful, 27 Dresses, Lost in Austen, Anything based on a Nicholas Sparks book, Marley and Me, Hachi, Green Book, Hidden Figures, The Fault in our stars, The Dressmaker, The Longest Ride, Midnight in Paris, Me Before You …. oh soooo many

  • I love The Birdcage and Liar, Liar.

  • My fav is the Godfather trilogy and Lion King. Two very different genres.

  • I’ve just bought the first 4 seasons of Game of Thrones. Excellent series, I’m loving it, I was sucked in from the very first episode…it’s that good!

  • Comedy is my favourite genre and if you’re unwell, they say laughter is the best medicine.

  • For you – Sweet Home Alabama, The Break Up, The Family Stone, Four Holidays, The Ring, Bridgette Jones, The Best Man Holiday, He’s Just Not That Into You.

For the family – The Little Rascals, The Adams Family, Jumanji, The Princess Diaries, The Home Alone movies, Miracle On 34th Street, Smokey Mountain Christmas, Matilda, The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe.

  • I can watch ‘Zoolander’, ‘The Princess Bride’ and ‘Blazing Saddles’ over and over again. Maybe you should invest in Netflix?

  • My girl
    Sweet home Alabama
    The age of Adaline

  • I love ‘Out of Africa’ and most movies that have Meryl Streep as the main star. And also the old classic ‘Gone with the Wind’ – who can forget Clark Gable as he leaves saying ‘Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn’. The first time a swear word was in film.

  • BEC101 – 10 Things I Hate About You is definitely a goodie – thanks! :)
