  • Warren buffet, Scott pape(barefoot investor) and my all time favourite Dave Ramsey. Ramsey has a pod cast that my husband listen to religiously and I occasionally when I can. Very motivational and funny. We bace debt free listening to Dave ramsey in 3 years. Could not recommend anyone more highly

  • don’t know about books, but there is a program called simply budgets, an Aussie product that I use and love

  • Great suggestions. Thank you everyone I will be chasing some of these up.

  • Think I will try and read some of these books too. Good recommendations.

  • I really liked Rich dad Poor dad. There are a lot of books out there – do a google and read the synopsis on Amazon.com. If you like it, you can borrow it from your local library and save some money from buying financial books!

  • Debt Free, Cashed Up and Laughing

  • Not sure about books, but stay at home mum has good I for on budgets and saving money. Pretty sure there is still a spreadsheet you can use from there as well.

  • After a visit to the library and bookstore I am now loaded up with books – thanks!

  • Thanks for the tips – there are a couple that I will add to my list to read. I would not have thought of a couple of them.

  • Warren Buffett books are great.

  • I like Scott Pape’s books (AKA the Barefoot Investor). I find them practical and easy to understand.

  • yeah google or go to the library! they have a lot there! why not watch youtube as well!. i love TEDTalks.

  • There are so many books on almost everything now, so I am sure you will find something like budget tips for the family etc. Go to a bookshop, a charity store or the library and there would be something .

  • Try Paul Clitheroe’s books – he usually makes sense and is not talking down to his readers. He makes things sound achievable.
