Hello!

“Can you please ask your community if anyone know what can be done about a chipped tooth? My daughter is 18 months old and fell over taking off half her tooth, any tips would be great. Thanks”

  • I actually had once a chipped tooth repaired where the dentist used laser to glue it together. This is more then 15 years ago and it’s still holding strong

  • Sometimes they can kind of glue it back together, or take the sharp edges off. I would go to the dentist to seek advice. However it is a milk tooth and I wouldn’t be too concerned.

  • Trip to the dentist.
It’s a baby tooth so she is going to lose it anyway but you want to be sure the tooth is just chipped & there is no damage done to her gums or nerves.

  • Trip to dentist for professional, advice suggested for this. It’s only a baby tooth, so might not be overly important

  • My advice is go check with dentist, not anything too expensive as first tooth but they may have suggestions. My two front teeth were taken out when I was two and did not grow till I was about 8. I hated it of course but people said I looked cute. Another suggestion is have it smoothed off so it looks even if smaller

  • Some interesting answers here. Hope some helped 🙂

  • Take her to the dentist. It would definitely need looking at.

  • they wont do anything with it, it is her first tooth and she will lose it eventually, I think a cap would be a choking hazard if it came off while sleeping. you will get used to it and think it cute eventually

  • make sure its not sharp and head 2 the dentist

  • go to the dentist to get it filled

  • I doubt they’ll do anything, but check with your dentist 🙂

  • I hope all went well 🙂

  • You could always check with the dentist to make sure there is no problematic damage

  • Hope you managed to sort out the tooth. What did you end up doing?

  • What did you end up doing?

  • Oh, I hope that everything worked out okay. Poor little thing.

  • So did mine! as long as it isn’t causing discomfort, not much point in spending money trying to get it fixed. Tis why they are called practise teeth!

  • If it a baby tooth it will fall out anyway, maybe it could be filed smoothly until it does fall out

  • Hope it went well, a trip to the dentist is what I’d suggest firstly

  • Well in a few years time it will fall out anyway.
