YOU COULD BLEND THEM ANDAND PUT IN CONTAINERS IN FREEZER. i USED TO MAKE MY OWN PIZZA’S AND FREEZE THEM, SO USING YOUR TOMATOES MAKE A LOT AND FREEZE THEM. YOU COULD ALSO GIVE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. hOPE THIS IS USEFUL
Tomato sauce seems to be a popular response because of how versatile it is. I usually make a pot of a tomato base (fresh tomatoes, onions and herbs) uncooked/fresh, I use some of this for bruschetta and the remainder of this tomato base, I cook in a pot and wait for it to cool before distributing into zip locker bags which freeze beautifully . Just by adding some mince to some of this sauce you have a nice spaghetti sauce or stuffing capsicums with mince and tomato base and then roasting in the oven is delicious and quick. Placing some of the tomato base into a slow cooker with lamb shanks or making a vegetarian treat like shakshuka is nice and quick.
Tomato sauce [great recipe on this site] is one good way to use them, tomato soup, Roasted red capsicum and tomato soup or why not freeze them whole to use in dishes throughout the winter.
You can even fry them up with onions to put into your next casserole or slow cook dish.
