What do I need to know about cross-cutting teeth?

Hello!

Bub is cutting her first tooth by the looks but there is a hard white lump on the top so i think she might cross cut? i have heard this is more painful? anyone had a bub do this?

Cross cutting is just cutting teeth in an atypical order. Teeth typically erupt in a pattern (lower centrals, upper centrals, etc), but like with everything, some babies don’t follow that pattern. It’s nothing to worry about. Your baby is just special 🙂
