Hello!

Feeling stuck in a rut and bored of a night. Sick of watching tv or being on the phone after kids are in bed. What is something my husband and I can do?
Not into board games or puzzles for just the 2 of us.
Going out not always an option with 2 young kids.

  • I would just sit and talk.
I dont understand being bored. Im never bored. Even if im alone I can always find something to do and love reading.

  • How are you getting on with your nights now mom160289 ?

  • quiet time if good for us, or a massage hehe

  • If you can’t find a craft you enjoy together, maybe you could each do your own craft in the same room while chatting?

  • play a board game or a card game together, listen to music,

  • Depends on what you do like. Spend time doing something you both like, watch a movie, cook, do a project together, read the same book and talk about it, exercise together. Whatever you do enjoy doing.

  • Wow, you haven’t given yourself many options. No tv, no games, can’t go out. Hope you found something cos I’m all out of ideas

  • Maybe you could find a craft you’d both enjoy. Or read a book then talk about it.

  • We like to chill after a day at work, chat and enjoy each other’s company .

  • Exercise – there are lots of online programs you can do at home.

  • Sex??…lol

  • I would really just enjoy some quiet time

  • I would love to find out to.
I share house with a ex fifo who doesn’t talk and has discovered internet on mobile. ????

  • Cook a romantic dinner for 2 plan the meal and make it special things you wouldn’t normally have. Feed kids early and put them to bed and enjoy getting to know each other again.

  • My husband likes watching tele, I don’t. I may bake something, iron a wash, send messages to my friends or family member, make a skype call, do some sewing or read a book

  • Have Date Night at home, use Uber eats for a nice meal together.
    Talk to each other, reconnect
Massage – foot, back (take turns)
Plan a holiday – could be in a year

  • You can enrol in a online course to expand your horizons. There are many free or paid options.

  • This was always our time to have a talk, listen to music together and have a quiet wine reminiscing about the past or thinking about what we would do in the future. Now the children are gone – scattered all over Aust., we still reminisce about what we have done and keep on trying to keep going. It is amazing how short a time it is before those little kids grow up!!!!

  • Play cards, board games, even do a crossword together…or make a simple game romantic or even naughty ????
Go for a walk, do some cooking/baking, have a bubble bath together…there’s plenty to do if you use your imagination ????
    Have fun ❤

  • I love doing crafts. Maybe if you like cooking you could meal prep when the kids are in bed. Read a book. Plan a holiday. Rearrange a room.
