I mainly use it for keeping in tough with a school friend who lives overseas, friends who live in country areas including in the outback, and others who do shift work so I don’t disturb them by ringing at inconvenient times.

I’m pretty low key on it but mostly just use it to source articles and then follow/like interesting pages. I find it useful for creating events too

I think it’s just a case of getting on their regularly and finding what you like. I find it good to keep in touch with family and old friends that don’t live close. It’s also a good way to organise an event, with everyone just a click away. Liking pages and entering competitions is great too

It’s great for following your interests. For example is you enjoy cooking, follow some of your favourite chefs or there are craft groups if that’s where your interest lies. try typing you interests in the search bar and see what comes up.

I use the security features where you can choose who can see you stuff, I usually leave that on friends only… For who can send you friend requests i now have set to friends of friends… This was after guys from other countries sent me friend requests No one i knew, knew of them or had them on their friends lists so i changed the setting… (they could of been scammers) Anyone can still messege you if they find you name in the facebook lists but can not send you a friend request, it will be up you to send the people who messege you one if intrested…

I mainly use it to see what friends are up to and for posting rare pictures of my kids and family updates to friends. Im not one of thoose poeple who have to tag every minute of my day, but i do unfollow poeple who do this so they are still on my friends list but i dot get annoyed at their constant updates…

I love that you can post one thing and be in touch with all of your contacts rather than emailing them individually or texting them.
