It’s a wonderful piece of advice that I have lived by since I was a child.
I plan to pass it along to my children as well.

  • You’re smart enough to be anything you want, go as far as you can with school……… And I ignored it :(

  • As a new mum everyone offers advice, a good friend who is a midwife said to take everything with a grain of salt, it’s nice to get advice but at the end of the day go with your own gut and remember that every baby is different and everyone has different ideas of how to raise their own children :) great advice I thought :)

  • Always look for the best in people as the first time you meet them you may not meeting the real them. until you get past the walls people have built around them due to the pain they have had in their lives. By my mum. I have found this to be so true the coldest or most distant people can have a heart of gold you just have to know them before you judge them.

  • Live every day as though it’s your last, as one day you will get it right.

  • My grandmother lived til she was 98yrs old and would always say ‘everything in moderation.’ She also used to say ‘ the nicest man is a con man’ I’ve found both helpful

  • You only live once. Enjoy it, no regrets.
