Hello!

Removing my eye make-up is quite a lengthy process at times. How do other mums take their eye make-up off?

  • Interesting to read what everyone uses. Personally I don’t use make up so don’t need a make up remover, which is of course very easy 🙂

  • I still use Vitamin E cream for removing make up and moisturising skin. I am always amazed at the amount of money some people will spend on super expensive products when a cheaper one does the job. But it is personal choice.

  • Lancome has a number of excellent make-up removers, you could ask for a sample at DJ’s or Myers and it takes two seconds to remove!

  • It could be because you apply your makeup very heavily so you need one that includes the removal of waterproof eye makeup that is gentle on eyes as well as face. I never had that problem no matter if it is light or heavy and even baby oil does the trick . I must be lucky .

  • My eyes are sensitive so I can’t just use any makeup or remover . I am currently using the Woolies Select Non Scent facial wipes and even with heavy make-up that is the best . I would try one and see how you go . Other items I tried are the Garnier Sensitive makeup remover , Nivea wipes and even baby oil works for me. It is best to read the instructions as it will say something like “will remove waterproof makeup etc ” . Hope you find a suitable one soon .

  • I bought some aloe face wipes from our local Amcal chemist and they work like a charm and they only cost $ 1.29.

  • i wash it off with cleanser in the shower.

  • I found a cheap pack of makeup wipes in my local Reject Shop for $2 & they are my new best friend!
They work great & leave my skin feeling silky smooth.
    No irritation either.

  • I tried it as an eye make up remover today and it does really work.

  • I must give that a try! many thanks. I use it as a moisturiser.

  • Good old cheap and cheerful Vitamin E cream – my wonder cream!
