I have the Vicks one & I find sediment in it. Now having read this post I will try soaking it in vinegar

You would think that the water reservoir would be removable and dish washable, but you could maybe try rinsing it with a vinegar and bicarbonate mix then leaving it to air?

I would also ask the chemist on how to clean it.

It’s a job for vinegar and bicarb again. Just make sure you rinse well after you get the slime out then let dry completely.

Have you tried Nature Direct? You could soak some heavy duty cleaner in it and then wash out – and it’s totally non toxic. Good luck!

every time i use the vaporiser i use those little tablets you buy at the chemist, you just drop it in the water. Then i just give it a really good rinse out and make sure its completely air dried (i normally leave it out for about 3 days to try completely) before packing it away in the box.
