I have the same brand vaporiser and have never had a problem with it getting slimy, I always put the cleaning tablets in whilst using it. In the morning I empty it and let it dry out before putting it away.

It depends on which you have i found instructions on how to clean the vicks warm steam vapouriser online i had to soak it in warm water and vinegar a few times but got almost all of the mineral left overs out

I just filled mine with boiling water and disinfectant. Gave it a good scrub then tipped it upside down and shook it back and forth and side to side until all the water was out. Then let is air dry upside down

empty by tipping upside down then fill with bicarb water and vinegar run for 5 min then empty rinse again then put upside down and drain until dry then store if a fine day outside in the sun will help

I used the cleaning tablets and a bottle brush to clean too. Vinegar and baking soda work took

You can get vapouriser cleaning tablets from the chemist. We had them for our 3 and they work pretty well.

I rinse mine out after every use.. with hot water 🙂

I rinse with hot water. Then I get a tea towel and wipe it then rinse again then put it upside down to drain.

Vinegar, about 1/2 cup, top up to fill line with water. Heat up, let sit for a few minutes then empty. Wash out a couple of times with water to remove any leftover vinegar. No chemicals needed and you can do this with anything that holds water, I use it in my kettle.

We have hard water where we live so we clean with vinegar + water at least once a week, when in use 🙂

Vinegar!! Run it with a mix of half vinegar half water and then wash it out and let it dry, kills germs and cleans it out. Works a treat good luck xx

They have cleaning tablets but I have that vaporizer… I find simply rinsing a few times with plain water and really shaking it out after use normally works. I also leave it upside draining for a day or two.

The vicks one is the same. you can’t get all the water out its bizarre!

You can buy special cleaning tablets that you pop in and turn the vaporiser on and all the slime goes. I used to buy mine at the chemist.

I am not sure either but I myself will try bi-carb and vinegar because that always works with most things

I don’t have an answer but I will be watching to see the answers to this to try on my vaporiser.

Not sure what brand mine is, but I shake out all the water I can and leave it to drain. I then put some screwed up paper towel to mop up whatever water remains, and just let it air before putting away.

I rinse mine after each use and then put them upside down outside to try and it seems to keep them clean.

Will be watching this to see what others suggest. Will have to try the bicarb and vinegar
