I haven’t seen vanilla syrup in the shops. Will have to keep an eye out.

No not the same – basically a sugar syrup with vanilla added. Use it for pancakes etc.

Vanilla syrup is different to vanilla essence. Vanilla syrup is essentially a sugar syrup made with vanilla beans to give it a vanilla flavour. It’s often used to flavour coffee or it’s delicious drizzled over pancakes or ice cream.
