My 9 month old has just discovered spaghetti bolognese and is loving it. He’s really enjoying the pasta meals at the moment

Mine absolutely scoffs down his mashed veggies, all of them, he doesn’t seem to have a favoirite. He also seems to love the banana and chocolate custards bought from the shop. These are only a sometime food though, mostly when we’re out and about at meal times

Please ensure that your baby is nowhere near you when you are using cinnamon. I read an article on a children’s site that a little one died through inhaling cinnamon. I definitely wouldn’t give carrot for awhile as it is one vegetable that babies don’t digest properly ( you will find the evidence in nappy). Ours loved mashed pumpkin and potato together more than anything. Some like mashed banana.

My 8 month old loves baked ricotta, spinach and a bit of oregano. My eldest used to love pasta, cream cheese, tuna and avocado. I think it’s going to become a favourite with the little one too, he tried it last night and loved it.

My bub has become a massive sweet potato fan too. I roast them as chips in the oven with a bit of olive oil and dried herbs (basil or parsley). he also loved avocado or pear fingers (no skin). I sometimes spread avocado on a corner of toast for him

Avocado was my bubs favourite food at that age. But she also loved spaghetti bolognaise. I used to just fork mash the bolognaise and cut the spaghetti with scissors into small pieces. She managed it well. Both my girls were not that into puree.

My little one loves shredded chicken and pumpkin or sweet potato. Also avocado and banana is a favourite too.

I wanted to try my girl with egg and all those risky things before she was older. I mashed her up some banana and put it together with scrambled eggs and she loved it.
