Hello!

Looking for advice on a pram I will have a newborn and a 3 & 1/2 year old. I don’t drive so great for all surfaces and public transport ie easy to manoeuvre light weight. I know I’m probably going to be limited because of my dds age but as I don’t drive I can’t have her walking long distances on a main road. She needs to be strapped in. Thanks.

  • I had the Phil and Teds double buggy and LOVED it ! Easy to manoeuvre even on rough terrain, great for city and bush walks etc

  • I went the steelcradft strider. Not sure if it was the lightest of prams, but not sure how light any double pram would be? I found the second seat very handy for my older one because when i didn’t strap him in he was able to get in and out as he chose.

  • Valco snap duo?? It’s light and a twin pram. I have the single version and love it.

  • I found prams are very personal preference.. So best to go ‘test drive’ a lot of them at the baby shops to see which one you are most comfortable with.

  • I forked out & got the steelcraft Strider Compact for my 2.5yr old & 6month old. Am loving it as we do a lot of walking. Quite expensive but worth it for us. It was fairly newly released when I got ours but you may be lucky & find some second hand ones around now. http://www.stridercompact.com.au/

  • I have a steelcraft agile twin for my 11mo girls and I love it. Big wheels so it goes over things easily. Basket underneath. Its 12kg (light compared to some I looked at) folds pretty flat. Adjustable handle which is great for taller or shorter people
