Hello!

Hey mums I’m just curious what time is the last bottle feed at night time (to sleep through to morning) do your 7 month olds have? What time should my 7 month old have last feed before bed?

  • I have always based my routines off an ‘eat, play, sleep’ method as recommended by child health nurses. So when I was working with my last little one I would feed him when I got home from work around 6pm, he’d then have some solid foods, a bath, we usually go for a walk, maybe a story and then 7.30 bedtime. My little ones have been sleeping through (unless awoken by teething pains) from the age of around 2-3 months.

  • I usually settle mine with a feed at bed time. Change then feed then straight into bed. Helps get them to sleep

  • My 8 month old has a feed before she goes down at around 8, but lately this has been getting later and later

  • Hope all went well with changing feeding times

  • what did you end up doing?

  • How did it go with changing the feeding time?

  • hahaha 7pm! I think it depends on the child as my little night owl would not go to sleep until 11pm or midnight and still wake wanting feeds at least 2-3 times a night. Remember, they do not come with manuals and there are no set times 🙂

  • 7pm the latest? 🙂 🙂

  • When did you end up doing the last feed?

  • I have read that the last feed should be before 7 pm.

  • Hope some of the advice below has helped

  • I would say as late as you can.

  • Really good answers, hope these help

  • Just before they go to bed and or just before you go to bed

  • I always fed my babies just before putting them to bed, and at that age they’d still wake up for a feed (I breast fed). Not every baby is going to sleep through the night at that age. Be patient, set a routine, and follow your babies cues when it comes to feeding

  • 10ish? I reckon is a good time

  • As late as u r willing to stay up

  • have you tried a dream feed at about 10pm to get them thru the night?

  • I would feed my daughter just before bed to settle her. She would wake for a midnight feed .he will start sleeping through soon.

  • Your baby should have defined sleeping pattern at this stage and according to his sleeping pattern you can give him good feed before going for a sleep so be can get a sound sleep. Hope you have also started solid food
