  • I make a kale pasta (with onion, garlic, red capsicum, kale, chickpeas and vegan cream) which is loved by all

  • I don’t enjoy cooking much so don’t really have a favourite meal. I enjoy eating them, as long as they’re yummy

  • Just a put anything on the slow cooker from soups to vegetable curries. Get it started in the morning and no need to think about it till tea or slave over a stove with the kids at your legs!

  • Lasagna made from scratch or chicken parmigiana with chips, because they’re comforting and remind me of my Dad, who I miss. For easiness, I like making tacos, burritos, enchiladas or spaghetti bolognaise. Especially because I can sneak some veg in them.

  • Annette Sym recipe Creamy Bacon Pasta, just onion, red capsicum, bacon, mustard, parmesan cheese, carnation evaporated milk and pasta. Everyone eats it even fussy hubbie who is usually a meat and 3 veg type of guy. Only takes 20 minutes and it is on the table, nice tasty and quick. My type of recipe.

  • For special occasions I love to make home made lasagna from scratch. Tastes delicious and the whole family loves it.

  • Another meal I like to make are Mexican tacos or fajitas. Everyone fills his own tacos or fajitas so they just eat what they like. Great for adults and kids!!

  • I love making 2 minute chicken noodles with soy chicken & vegetables. It’s a hit with my fussy kids, full of vegetables, quick to make and low fat. I make a large dish of it because they have seconds and leftovers for lunches the next day.

  • Chicken Casserole! Such an easy and delicious meal! Or Lamb Obsession in the slow cooker! Recipe can be found on Slow Cooker Central 🙂

  • Spaghetti bolognaise as it is quick, easy and so delicious.

  • Crumbed steak, mashed potato, cauliflower and cheese sauce. I crumb the steak myself with select seasoning and lots of Parmesan in the crumbs. I always say this would be my last meal request if I ever ended up on death row

  • I think lasagne, because I know they are always a big success! 🙂

  • Without a doubt chicken or beef stir-fry with Hokkien noodles is my favourite meal to make because it is so quick and easy, tasty, and a family favourite.
