  • I think any of those times where we just chat and everything is in harmony. Christmas is always fun

  • On special occasions we like things like ice skating and horse riding too

  • Depends a bit on the age of the kids, but a bush walk, beach day, zoo’s, bowling, Jakkolo, board games and jigsaws are always fun.

  • We play backgammon and I used to get the kids to help out with cooking – now they cook the meals and enjoy what they have cooked. Also made a game of cleaning – their rooms have never been tidier as they each vie for a prize at the end of the week. Prize is to go somewhere they would like or $2 for their savings box.

  • We love a game of badminton or backyard cricket . Also a picnic in the garden is fun, of course packed with Uncle Toby’s muesli bars ;))

  • It depends on how old your children are. We used to go in the back yard and kick a ball or play cricket. The other thing they loved to do was watch movies. We’d place chairs in an arc, make some popcorn and drinks all served in containers you could buy at The Reject Shop or Red Dot. We’d then put a coin in a box placed next to the doorway and take our seats. Closed all the curtains, shut the doors and sit back and watch their favourite movie (even if they’d seen it heaps of times before). Best thing is we didn’t have to travel far to get home.

  • Collect boxes and have a “box day”. Kids and adults can have fun seeing what they can create from boxes- you can use cereal boxes, egg cartons or any box you can find! We’ve made a robot, dinosaur, cubby house, car, train.

  • We love cooking together.

  • We love making forts under the dining room table, playing board & card games, having movie nights and for outdoor play, the trampoline and pool provides hours of entertainment. We have loads of challenges on the trampoline that we all do and in the pool lots of games to keep us entertained.

  • Board games are a great family activity.

  • We go for walks together with the dog. Includes a stop for a latte and shake and a long walk along the beach.

  • Yes the outdoors is great to enjoy together !

  • Go for a walk ????

  • My children are 6 and 9. We have been watching Japanese animation on Netflix, family karaoke nights, watching and learning how to perform magic tricks, board games, card games, baking.

  • I love to cook for my kids and watch a movie from Netflix . This is our favourite way of spending time together and we discuss interesting things about the movie. This is my way of staying close to my kids as they grow up.

  • My kids are 6, 4 and a baby. We play their favourite board games, build with LEGO, draw/colour together. Watch movies, play age appropriate games on the PlayStation and iPad. My kids (4 yr old especially) love cooking so they help with that too. My 6 yr old is doing a scrapbook project of her life and my 4 yr old is creating his own recipe book, they are my favourite things, watching their individual creativities shine through

  • board games art and craft and cooking with the kids

  • When the weather is great, spending time outdoors is the best – especially when the kids can explore in the garden.

  • We are love to play some boardgame and have nice chat.

  • We play alot of sports in the backyard and make scavenger hunt maps to find things when we go for a walk or in the backyard.
