When can I wear underwire bras again?

I was always told not to wear underwire bras when breastfeeding – bub is now 8 months old can i start wearing them again yet? (still bfing)

Avoid underwire bras or any bra that’s tight and puts pressure on your breasts. Tight bras and underwires can cause plugged milk ducts or mastitis. Wait till you finish breastfeeding

I think the risk is the pressure of the underwire contributing to blockages/mastitis. I’d maybe look for a Flexi-wire bra which should give you the support but is supposedly better for pressure etc

I’ve never heard the no under wire bras while breast feeding. I never used them anyway, I used breast feeding bras and I don’t remember them having wires
