If you feel she’s ready and can get her size do so. I would keep a pack of your normal ones incase they don’t fit properly due to size.

I interchanged since 12 months, I use the pull ups when we go out as I find they don’t hold as well as the normal nappies

We only use pull ups when we’re on the go (out and about) or during the day to encourage toilet training. We still use normal tab nappies for bed as we found pull ups dont hold like a nappy does. Whilst pull ups are convenient we did find the sides break easily and the sizing seem to be smaller than the corresponding nappy size. Our 2 year old is in size 5 nappies but has to have a size 6 pull up in Huggies.

I moved my son to pull ups from around 14 months when it was too hard to lie him down for nappy changes and when he could fit the size 5 pull ups. Makes life a lot easier!

I dont think there is any hard and fast rule. If you feel it suits your lifestyle best to use pull ups then go right ahead.

If it makes your life easier, make the switch! No point fighting every single nappy change.

This is really individual – because they cost more, I didn’t move my kids to them until we were thinking about toilet training.

Give it a try, if it doesn’t work absorbency wise now, come back to it in a couple of months. Ripping the sides off when there is a poo might make it a bit unmanageable.

I honestly don’t think it matters what age you start as long as they fit. I would put my kids in pull ups at exactly this stage when they would fight me changing their nappies.

I never used pull up nappies on my children. If they are too wriggly, maybe some new things to entertain her while being changed ? Good luck.

My youngest was in pull ups at the age of 12 months when he became toilet trained. If possible see if you can get a couple from a friend and try her in them. Better to try a couple than buy a whole pack and find she won’t use them.

I had pull ups for when we went out and we were toilet training. Other than that I struggled with nappies till they were toilet trained. They were a lot more expensive when my kids were younger.

Why not try it now and also see if your baby will accept toilet training at the same time. My bubs were out of nappies and toilet trained at 12 months.

Definitely! I started pull ups closer to 2yrs as I was toilet training, but no reason why you couldn’t start. They’re very absorbent still. Only difficulty is poos- you need to rip the sides to get them off clean.

15 months is an age where kids are wriggly and refuse to lay down. Both my boys went through that phase from 14months to 18months old. If you child is in pull ups and does a poo in the nappy pants, you will still need to lie them down to change & clean them properly, as standing up will be proven messy.
Pull ups are more when you are toilet training as its easier for the child to learn. So I honestly would make the switch once your lil one starts to so signs of toilet training.
Just be a little more patient and tlyour child will grow out of the phase.

Yes go for it! At that age we tended to switch between whatever was on sale. Nappy pants are super easy for mobile kids and I find they are just as good as regular nappies in terms of containing leaks and such. I’ve even used them on my 6-monther because they were half price

I changed to pull ups early when my daughter was about 7 months as she was rolling and beginning to crawl and would not stay still… was so frustrating so i changed to pull ups and it helped a lot as they can be pulled up and put on no matter which direction they lay or roll or attempt to get away!
