maybe from abt 1 year.. i boil the water for my 7 month old but when he has a bath he accidentally swallows a sip or two..

I haven’t given this any thought, we buy bottled water and he has that sometimes (he is 1)

umm, baby number 2 got it from 6 months depends on the water in your area

After 6 months where water no longer needs to be sterilised.

Lol I must be a terrible mother… I don’t. So from 5 months he has had tap water. We’re on tank water so it’s rain water only… But even in town I just give him water now. He drinks it in the bath so yeh. He’s happy and healthy with a normal amount of limbs.

I will start giving my boy tap water at about 1 year old.

i started giving my daughter tap water after 18 months. and everything was fine.

I always boiled the tap water for five minutes for the first year, then when they drank from a cup around that age of one year, were weaned from bottle I still sterilised their cups for a while longer. It depends where you live and the health of the water. The water filters that are available would be fine for baby to drink without boiling but check,with your doctor or child nurse. Some areas have better quality water than others. I would not take risks to jeopardise their health.

I waited until they were 12 months old.

Around the year old mark although my kids have always had filtered water and still do.

My children reached ten years old and they were drinking boiled water. It’s only at school now that they were drinking the tap water. But at home I’m still boiling the water. I’ve got used to it and never want to change. I prefer to be safe than take chances. I even brought my own water to the cafe and restaurant.

Water should be boiled in the first year of life, as they dont have full immunity until then. Always always boil water for five minutes atleast….especially formulas water or baby may get sick. You can give boiled cooled water inbetween feeds at around after 6 months in hot weather….they get thirsty too!!

All of mine were 12 months when I gave tap water to drink. Having said that, I stopped sterilising at 6 months

i always boil atm, but once he turns one ill just filter

I never give tap water to my son always boiling it before.

I kept it up until the were around the 9 mth mark
