I washed all the baby clothes and just had a set with blanket to pack in bag and I usually have everything packed at least two months before I’m due, best to be organised ahead.

I’d say about a week before your due date.

About 30 weeks, for piece of mind, and no rushing around last minute. I always say the sooner the better, just in case. You never know when bub is going to decide to come. If you start early, you can get one or two items each week with your normal shopping so it’s not a huge expense all at once. Also ask your friends and family what they took to hospital that was really useful.

its never too early – if you’re thinking about it start putting things together

I started at around 30 weeks, just to be sure. I bought new button up nighties and dressing gown and they went straight in. Undies, lots of undies, maternity pads, nursing bras….all went in early. Toiletries were kept in a bag in the bathroom, ready to go, but still being used. You can never pack it too early in my opinion

I started packing at around 30 weeks, I was so excited & wanted to be prepared for anything! I packed so much stuff I didn’t use & found the majority of things I wanted/needed I hadn’t packed!
Start packing whenever you feel ready.

i loved being pregnant too but yeah. great time to get the bag packed. my first bub was born early and i wasn’t prepared lol.

I suppose its good to get ready early, just in case you end up going early!

Might start packing soon! I am getting a bit excited though its almost at the end and it has gone so quick… I love being pregnant!

I had everything packed by 30 weeks. I was just so excited! I think I packed it and re-packed it about 3 or 4 times as well.

The recommendation is from 32 weeks but no harm in packing now

36 weeks is a good time to start getting prepared because you could go into labour early. Don’t worry too much about having everything packed as your partner can bring things to you.

I’d say one and a half, two months, before due date.
