When to transition from bassinet to cot?

Hello!

I’ve just been told by my child health nurse to start putting bub in his cot to sleep as it might improve his sleeping. He still easily fits in his bassinet and looks so tiny in his cot, I’m not sure I agree. Ages of bubs when other mums have made the move?

With my elder kids I did around 4 months. My youngest went straight into the cot

Mine were around 4 months. When they were attempting to sit up or were grabbing the edge of the bassinet to pull themselves up is usually when they moved to a cot

My kids were 4-6 months I guess when they went from bassinet to cot. I think I went on their size and how much they were moving
