I was just in Kmart and they now have everything for candle making. Even pretty glass jars to fill. I wish I had more spare time to be creative, they have made it cheap and easy.
Try places where they sell candles in general eg Dusk, Myer, Spiritual/Healing stores etc. If not I am sure they will guide you to the right direction . Making candles is a nice challenge , just like making soaps I guess .
I use silicon shaped cake moulds and set them in there, Glass jars that a designed to sit tea light candles in, Xmas decoration baubles like you get at spotlight (Have 2 halves that separate), tea cups you no longer use basically be creative.
I also use pretty small jars, sometimes with wire or twine wrapped around the top. These look very cute and beachy, which is a favourite style of mine.
depends on what type you want to make . http://www.candlesupply.com.au is a place to start with. I know you can use silicon shaped cooking trays -heart shaped ,cupcake etc. You can also pour straight into various sized glass holders.
