Your local library… Or maybe borrow from a friend? I pick up a few in sales ad keep them stashed for moments like this.

I know my library loans out dvds for three weeks at a time with the option of renewing

1) Your local library will loan DVDs (for up to 2 weeks here) and you can renew online so long as no one else has reserved it. I suppose you’re stuck if you’re away for longer and discover after the fact you can’t renew it and end up with a fine. 2) You may also find that your DVD player (in the car?) might have a usb input port from which you can play movies that you put on a memory stick. or 3) That you can put movies on a SD card and put this into the DVD player (much like a SD card into a camera for storing photos)

Not sure about 3 week hire of dvd but dvd hire store will hire for a week. Otherwise I would just take some from home. Keep an eye out for cheap ones at Kmart or target etc
