Hello!

I would like to know where mums design their kids birthday invitations? I’m looking for something for my daughters first birthday which I can print as a photo 6×4. I don’t really want to pay someone else, would prefer to do myself cheaply on the computer. Where can you design your own birthday invites?

  • I do it on word documents on my computer. I google the kind of images I want, and copy paste them in.

  • You can use a free online program called CANVA.COM to design your artwork, then download it and take it to OfficeWorks for printing. Quick and easy. Canva has template designs you can use too.

  • There’s heaps on etsy and madeit that don’t cost very much and you can print at home as many as you like 🙂 And you can search templates free on google and just edit them in a free photo editing website like picmonkey or befunky

  • Great! There really interesting comments on this!

  • You can buy personalised digital packages from etsy for not much at all, and then print at home. There is a ton of stuff on etsy

  • I’m pretty sure that hug goes photo centre/ snapfish can let u create whatever you like. Good luck

  • How did you go with making you own invites?

  • I do a lot in Microsoft Word too – easy to use

  • Depends on how many you need to print…if there are a lot you could try kmart photo, office works, vistaprint or snappish. If not too many I’d use word or photoshop.
