We did a 10 day self drive Tasmanian holiday and it was wonderful. I would highly recommend Tasmania.

Tasmania… Amazing! Wine glass bay, port Arthur, west coast… The list is endless!! Have also done great ocean Rd, fab scenery!

My friends just jump in their car and drive. Hook up the caravan and off they go. No plans. They decide on if they want to go left or right,mand that’s where they head. They’re loving it

The Great Ocean Road and the the road to portsea.

Come to Tassie! It’s stunning here in Spring (Summer and Autumn too – and Winter if you don’t mind the cold). You can travel around the whole state seeing pristine beaches, beautiful rainforests, falls, mountains, and more! Nothing is too far away and you can see so much in a day trip! Oh, the people are great too

When i was a kid my parents took me and we spent 3 month travelling up north of australia, a four wheel drive is needed but we went along the gibb river road and to the kimberleys, then on to see ayres rock, also to the Mataranka Hot Springs, we also went to Cape york and kakadu and travelled around there. Some of my best memories in life are from that holiday. If you go on that kind of trip just make sure you are prepared with correct tool kits water extra foods etc as once we broke down in the middle of nowhere and dad had to fix the caravan as one of the Axles broke. We were kucky as he had the tools to get it bodged up and onto the next town.
I am lucky enough to live 20 mins from the start of the great ocean road in victoria and in the warmer weather that is a great road to visit I also recommed phillip island where you can see the pengins if you are in victoria. Happy travels.
