  • You absolutely need professional help with this. See your GP, a paeditrician, or a child pyschologist as soon as you can.

  • How is your son going now ?

  • Sounds you need professional help. When he’s officially diagnosed I would try and get NDIS funding and seek psychological, pediatric, psychiatric and occupational help.

  • Kent Hoffman is a leader in parenting and circle of security and may be helpful for you. Google circle of security. Also looking at diet and taking note of possible reactions to food and and triggers. Whole foods, aromatherapy may assist.

  • It must be hard for you so you have my sympathy but that is not enough help. Trying to stay calm know how difficult that can be, be firm but kind and give him things to occupy him, also praise him when he is good. anger creates angry response if your child is already hard too handle. what things does he like to do,giving him jobs as fun things not chore to do. My first son was a handful too, realise he wanted attention too. so a board with his name if he is good gets a star, sounds silly but one of the teachers did this each day for my son and it helped curb his bad, disruptive behaviour. all the best hope something I said helps

  • i guess my only advice would be to seek some counselling support who are trained with dealing with these types of issue and teaching you ways to manage your own feelings and to regain control over the situation. I wish you and your family all the very best

  • We put our son on the Sue Dengate ‘failsafe diet’, it changed his and our lives! Have a look at their website. It’s hard work but easier than the aggression and outbursts we used to have to deal with.

  • I hope things have improved. My son had some of these behaviours and I changed his eating diet. I cut out all preservatives, additives and colours in his foods and his behaviour has changed immensely. His teacher said he is a totally different child, calmer and happier.

  • Hope you found some useful tips

  • Borderline sounds a little less than what he really is, maybe seek a different docs opinion.

  • There is some good advice below – hope something has helped.

  • Both my boys are ADHD routine, exercise, enrol in a martial art & discipline. You don’t want an out of control 13yr old strip his bedroom only leave the bed and he earns back each item ,No TV No friends over He goes to school he comes home Get professional help now before he is older.Glad to say my 2 have turned out OK If he dosen’t want to go to martial art clas put him in the car and take him don’t give in it will do him the world of good.Monitor his mates Know where heis and with whom ADHD is the reason for his behaviour but not the excuse for his behaviour

  • If u dont stop him now you will have a very out of control teenager like i have now .i let him get away with too much and now he is 14 and a real nightmare

  • There is great medication for children who have ADHD. I know a boy who has just started to take the tablets 2 a day and it has/made a huge difference.
Lots if mums are against medicine but in this case I think he needs it.

  • I hope you got the answers you wanted Good Luck
