Anyone dealt with milk protein allergy in breast fed babies?

Hello!

I’ve changed my diet to be dairy free and while there is improvement in bubs uncomfortable bowel movements there is still a terrible sour smell. It’s been 3 weeks and we have seen a difference when we added dairy back into my diet but we thought the smell would get better. Anyone got babies with super sour smelling poop?

It takes 6-8 weeks for it to clear out of their system since the last time they had it. Cut it back out and hold in there.
