My husband is keen to buy a Dishwasher but I really think they are not worth the money. As I still love to do my own cleaning of dishes and stuff. So are Dishwashers worth the money

  • I wish we had one!
If I was you, I’d say yes. So much time given back to you and if you have lots of people over or a big family it definitely takes strain off.

  • 100%! Is saves you time and money (apparently uses less water than the sink). There are things that still need handwashing so you won’t miss out on pulling out the rubber gloves

  • If your husband is all for it then YES buy a dishwasher,it is life changing! After dinner no washing up and you pop everything into it and no mess plus it cleans beautifully!

  • It is well worth doing the research and looking at the stats for handwashing dishes versus using a dishwashing.

  • I don’t have one and I don’t think i want it.

  • I personally couldn’t live without my dishwasher. It saves time and I feel cleans items better than hand washing. We turn ours on once a day and the kids unpack it as part of their chores.

  • I think they are worthwhile but i’ve been without at times and it’s been good too. I defintely prefer having one, it’s good for the kids as well. I don’t like stacking dishes on the sink so it’s helpful to me being able to stack them away in the dishwasher for the day and only do one wash cycle rather than the 3-5 that might get done during the day with a family of 7.

  • Our dishwasher is terrific and worthwhile. We only use it when it is full and it is energy and water efficient.

  • Oh my, YES! Best thing that ever happened to my family was the addition of a dishwasher. Unpacking the dishwasher is a great chore for kids to do too!

  • If you love doing it, all power to you. However, I love the convenience of my dishwasher (except when something gets caught in the bottom and I have to do the load again). It supposedly uses less water as well (I don’t know much about this though).
