Put the frozen portion into the fridge the night before, and then in a chilly bag when you go out. If it’s something that needs to be warmed, take a thermos of hot water and a container that your food container will fit into. For instance, I used to put purées in Zestio reusable squeeze pouches, which fit into a Tupperware Sandwich Keeper. When it was time for food I just opened the sandwich keeper and poured hot water in.
