Best growing tips for large mango haul

Hello!

Any tips on growing mangoes? We lost all but one mango in the September winds, which seem to have stayed right though until now. We have one mango left. What is the best way to protect from the wind? Tree is 3 years old

Possible to sort of make a netting on top of them? Would help.

Agreed, some kind of wind break. Or splint with a strong piece of wood to the trunk.

I can’t think of anything other than creating some sort of wind break, but I realise that would be difficult with a mango tree.
