Does anyone know where I can buy in Australia a reusable olive oil spray bottle? I’d like to spray oil on for some cooking, but need a food grade reusable bottle. Also I don’t want a disposable aerosol can with oil (as I’ve seen in grocery shops with all sorts of additives to the bad oils)

  • just look on google for a kitchen supply store there are plenty around and they also sell to the public. nisbets is a good one but its your best bet

  • Kitchen stores definitely have them !

  • Can’t you just buy the plastic spray bottles and fill one if them up to use? Cheap and easily replaced

  • Big W have them in Decor Brand.

  • Yes you can weight watchers have them, and ebay has a bunch too

  • I got a great one at Woolies, its a DECOR one, see photo – it is a fantastic sprayer
“Featuring a clear, refillable bottle, the Fine Mist Oil Sprayer ensures a superfine light mist without the need for nasty aerosol gases. Designed with a unique easy spray action, it provides healthy control over the amount of oil you’re using without the need for measuring, or guessing.” from their website http://www.decor.com.au/decor-cook-fine-mist-oil-sprayer/

  • You can from kitchen shops- sorry can remember the name. Just de pressurise it between uses if you get one as we had one and if you leave it pressurised it does not last

  • I’ve got a little pump one but I can’t remember where from, sorry. I recommend definitely tracking one down though because what you put in is what you get. No additives! Mine is great and I use it all the time. I just have to remember to release the pressure before putting it away each time I use it.

  • Great idea! Thanks for posting this question. :)
I wonder if American & London Supply Store stocks one. I just saw that there are lots on ebay too.

  • I have a decor one from BigW. I tried a couple and this one has the best spray.

  • I just bought an oil spray from Aldi and it looks fine to me . A while ago I thought about buying a jar or can but you need to wash it often as once the oil expires it might leave the old oil residue in the can . Good side is you will save money on using existing oil.

  • Thank you. LOoks wonderful!

  • Don’t know where abouts you are? but Peter’s Of Kensington have awesome things and at wonderful prices …they ship as well.
    Prepara
    Gourmet Oil Mister
    Product Number: 958732
    RRP:$30.00
    Peter’s Price:
    $14.00

Have you ever wondered if some things in our lives could be made, well, just a little bit better?

The people at Prepara certainly did! This innovative company was borne from a Thanksgiving family dinner, when loved ones preparing a feast, (which consisted of peeling clove after clove of garlic) decided they could do much better than the archaic garlic press that was a mainstay of theirs and many other kitchens.

A family of engineers, product designers, MBA graduates and keen cooks, they first set about creating a new, improved garlic press. The rest is history, and Prepara now creates a range of ingenious and most importantly, practical kitchenware products which make food preparation easier, and more fun.

Olive oil and garlic are pretty much best pals when it comes to cooking, so it makes sense that a Gourmet Oil Mister would follow after a garlic press. This aluminium can is great for lightly misting salads with olive oil or balsamic vinegar, rather than slathering it!

Beautifully designed from quality materials, you’ll love adding a Prepara touch to your kitchen!

    Gourmet Oil Mister features:
    Designed in America.
Made from aluminium and BPA-free plastic.
Place your oil inside a pump to spray a fine even mist of oil.
Great for greasing pots and pans, seasoning salads and more.
Plastic cap keeps your mister from spraying if it’s unintentionally knocked.

    Capacity: 110ml.
    Height: 16cm.
