Hello!

Today I had to shower my child several times as well as take them out to buy them food- a ridiculously expensive experience especially when you consider that they NEVER stop eating!

Between getting from the house to reaching the cafe I had to stop at the park- not because I wanted to, but because they warned me that they were feeling bored.

I honestly hated every second of it, but somehow I managed to collect enough money at the park to cover the trip to the cafe- and then I actually got lost and my little one had to get themselves back home which did make me laugh.

Surely there has to be more to Roblox than this though?! Because honestly I am growing tired of double parenting my child! In fact I’m considering changing roles in the game so that they have to parent me- but I’m not sure if that’s morally right.

It’s lovely that my little one has invited me into this realm of gaming but I just feel like I’m doubling up on life.

Have you downloaded Roblox yet and is there something better to do with it than this? Or is this the new generation’s version of a Tamagotchi?

  • Keep up the humour, it’s a great strength

  • Lol ! No, I never have downloaded Roblox :)

  • That made me laugh, I didn’t know where it was going intially.

  • Haha that was not I was expecting at the end there! Good luck, it’s nice of you to take such an interest in your kids hobby.

  • I had to read this a few times, im confused, roblox confuses me and now reading this i dont think ill ever downlaod it lol.
My kids watch people playing roblox on youtube. i dont get it.

  • I have heard a lot about this game but my children don’t play it.

  • No roblox here .. sounds tedious…. they have games to do with running a pizza shop.. you just role play selling pizzas.. how absolutely DUMB!!!! .(but I’m not sure what you mean by double parent? .. is this a game you created with Roblox? if so .. no way .. I don’t want more work!!!!!) … Perhaps they all want to make millions and invent the ‘dream game’ that keeps players coming back… I prefer a real walk in the park, with a real ball and real people to play it with.

  • Very nice! Haha, I got tired of ROBLOX too quickly, my oldest is interested in that kind of thing but I’m struggling with the concept of using my time for something with no real goal (I say while pulling up candy crush screen).

  • We limit computer games in this house very sharply, and since they’re not my thing, the kids never ask me to participate.

  • This was a good laugh. I just don’t under the game at all

  • Haha, this made me laugh. I had to read down a way before I clicked on.

  • I was SO confused reading that.
My heart jumped when you said you left your little one at the park and they had to find their way one way home.
So much relief that it was a game.
I thought roblox was a kids toy magnetic discs that joined together to make things. I’m so lost.
But tamagotchi and digimon were the best when I was a little kid!
