Hello!

I’ve never really paid attention to it before but this year is my year for getting involved more in answering people’s questions etc and was really just curious :)

  • To be honest I have months where I will really get into it and be way up in the red all month, then months where I have a break and let someone else have a turn. I love the free books but its good to spend a bit less time looking at my phone. I’ve never paid any attention to how many points I get though.

  • I don’t even count points as its easier just to be active and then wait till to reaches at least the red level.

  • Such a good question, one that ice wondered myself. I was up to 800 points 3 days ago and just into the red section. Then I logged on today, and I’ve dropped back into the purple. So I’m guessing it all depends on the other mums and how many points they’re scoring. I love reading the info on here, the recipes are fantastic and I gave a go at the comps. I hope the advice I give in the answers section help someone out too. I know others answers have helped me

  • I found when I went on each day or few days I ended up winning a prize (an extra bonus for participating anyway) but it was like 1000 last month and a few hundred the month before. I’ll keep an eye what I get this month and if that makes a prize.
Like you I just like answering and commenting. But it was pretty cool getting a book, I’m halfway through. I’d encourage you to put up a recipe or project, it’s really lovely sharing something! Xx

  • I love this page so much! in 3 months ive won and dvd, book and im going to take part in a review! I love how you can ask any question about anything. theres great prizes, reciepes and general stories. its fun and addictive! I guess it takes a bit of time but its worth it

  • I didn’t know if there was a set amount, didn’t really think about that one.
I guess you could ask the MoM fb page?

  • Thanks everyone :)
I’m just having fun answering questions etc when I can.
    :)

  • Good question, until recently I didn’t even realise there was a rewards section, I’m a bit slow sometimes lol but this month I’m giving it my all, I’d love to win a try and I’m learning heaps along the way

  • No set amount. It depends on how many points other people have.

  • I’ve won a prize one month with a total of around 400 points that month!

  • Check your rewards page under your sign in name on the right of the screen. Then there is a explanation of reward points. Just get involved and have fun answering questions and entering competitions and reviewing and commenting on blogs. You will learn a lot from other people and their experiences. I know I do! Good Luck!!

  • Wonderful answer MOM94125.
Also if you are very active you can keep an eye on your reward page, if you are nearing the end of the red long bar scale you are pretty much in for a win. But the things you learn and the advice and help from other moms along the way are rewards in them-selves.

  • I post and comment; however; I do not receive points for all of these posts and comments as there are limits to acquiring points. I post and comment; in particular post recipes and reply to comments on recipes I have posted. I do not get points for all of the recipes and comments; but; I love interacting with other Mom’s members. My main motivation is to share and learn within this wonderful Mom’s community. Anything else is an absolute bonus! :)

  • It will vary as it depend on how many people are sing actue that month.
If there are say 84 prizes on offer and there were hypothetically 84 people being active, then even if one of those people only answers one question then they would win a prize. But realistically there would be hundreds of people being active, so then to win a prize you have to be in one of the top 84 active people for that month. Does that make sence? It would be fair to assume that there are more of the prizes of lesser value than the prizes of higher value also, so it would be those at the very top of the ‘activity ladder’ that would get the major prize. All the incentive you need really!

  • I don’t know how many points exactly but the more active you are the more points you can accumulate for the month.
