I heard that every 2-3 days you should introduce a new flavour to the baby, what was your baby’s favourite solid first foods?

  • At 4 months, don’t panic too much. They don’t really need solids until 6 months and “food under one is just for fun”. Let bub explore tastes and textures but don’t expect much to go in the mouth. All the nutrition at 4 months comes from greasy milk/ formula.

  • I only gave baby rice mixed in with a little of breast or formula milk for the 1st month then maybe add a bit of banana to the mix, or avocado to the mix. Four month is quite early though they recommend not to go on solids until 6 months, but if you have a bub that you feel is ready, I would try and hold off on solids until 41/2 months at least. Food needs to be introduce slowly , and baby rice is the best start on baby’s delicate stomach.
